Would you work with someone who had a mental illness?
This was the question we asked today on Niall’s show. A survey of Dublin workers showed that over 50% of people said they would have an issue if one of their colleagues was suffering from a mental illness.
This surprised us but when we spoke to people today on the show, we found that many people felt that they had to cover for colleagues who were absent from work due to their illness. One person even went as far as to say that ‘mental illness’ was an ‘American import’ and not real.
Would you agree with them? Take a listen.
